<p>When our health started to improve, it wasn’t because we became completely different people. It was because we started paying attention to what we now call our <strong data-start="2003" data-end="2017">Daily Trio</strong>:</p>

<p>Not flashy. Not trendy. But surprisingly powerful.</p>
<h3 data-start="2154" data-end="2226">1. What We Ate: From “Whatever’s Fast” to “Will Future Me Thank Me?”</h3>
<p data-start="2228" data-end="2279">For a long time, our food choices were basically:</p>

</li>

<p data-start="3450" data-end="3466">Got in the car</p>
</li>

<p data-start="4636" data-end="4681">Not an exact time, just a range. For example:</p>

<p data-start="4684" data-end="4735">“Most nights we’re in bed between 10:00 and 10:30.”</p>

<p data-start="4737" data-end="4787">We also started a very un-fancy wind-down routine:</p>

<p data-start="4790" data-end="4832">Phone away (or at least not in our hand)</p>

<p data-start="5574" data-end="5637">It’s easier to be patient—with your body and with other people.</p>
